koyotes

May god's dog serenade your campfire,
may the rattlesnake and the screech owl amuse your reverie,
may the great Sun dazzle your eyes by day
and the great Bear watch over you by night.
-Edward Abbey (Oracle, Arizonia '83)

any human being.....
or kopykattin' kreature of the free..... open.... .. zpaces
that wishes 2 act/think/howl/trot like a koyote
musk have a bit of koyote in hymn oar her

first of all........one musk even play trickster width the name
zpellin' korrectedly the often mispelled coyote
....zounds better koyote.......kioyte.........kiotee

god's favorite krazy-koy-dog
is known 4 many legends & ztories & peoms.....tricky-trickster-tricks......
even part of a few medicine men's powers...

the koyote is a trickser of monumental klownin' proportions
who is a klown of monumentous trickser distortions
who is often quiet and yet noisy & nosey
a wizard of the open prairies & deserts & tundra & gulches & timbers & mountains

a thief ...a robber....of family pets & dog bowl morsels
who can humble & tame & send a pack of dogs yelpin' towards
the friendly confines of a farmstead or acreage

a zerenader during midnights full moon light show
the knights kommunicator of howlin'howls......barkin'barks....myztical-muzik

a koyote can be ominous ....just like poison ivy.......
....rattlesnakes .....a bullbuffalobellerin' & pawin' earth
wynn a koyote sneaks up behind you
it is usually a warning of sum impending harm
...take heed all who read this....
be alert 2 one's zurroundings & location
give mother nature the benefit of the doubt
(((don't ever fool width a kreature you think might be foolish))))

e)ii(e often go by the title of
kounterklockwisekrookedkreedkrosseyedkountin'koupkrazykultkoyote.....
who uses koyote tendencies 2 zurvive in todays hectic&kapitalistic&backstabbin'
wurld & universe & kosmos

there is an ole cheyenne zayin'
'a good scout makes a poor soldier" or is it " a good soldier makes a poor scout"
an exceptional koyote is usually great @ being an a.w.o.l. oar m.i.a.
like houdini...........koyote has a great disappearin' act
so no one ever gets a klean shot or the krosshairs trained on hymn

so if you can outfox a fox
can you out-koyote a koyote.....

often koyote is a mere streakin' streak that streaks across the road
a sentry on an lonely empty hill
an unseen messenger/kommunicator of the knavish nebulous knight....
like a shootin' star he is zeen as quickly as he vanishes
in the mysticalmist of the knight.....

if the koyote was a card he'd be a joker
if the koyote was a kind of weather he'd be a whirlwynd
if the koyote was an indian he'd have been geronimo..pure apache
if the koyote was a klan of people he'd probably be gypsy

once travelin' from sante fe nudemexicold 2 taos nudemexico
e(ii)(ii)e saw brother koyote ztandin' in a kreek(no fear)
knee-deep in the ripplin' waters
knot ominous this time but a blessing/gift
inziteful wisdom passed 2 me by his eyes
4 the rest of the journey

if one ever lets an arrow find you
let out a koyote howl
if one feels zpirit bumps in the dark of knight....let out a koyote zcream
if one feels steps outside of one's human skin....shapeshifts in2 a trickster
thank koyote....
by karryin' a ztone width his face on it........full of holyholes
koyote-eyes.....

happy-post-valentine daze....

a lover without indiscretion is no lover at all
-thomas hardy

...if you can make a girl laugh you can make her do anything
-marilymonroe

love is the only shocking act left on the face of the earth
-sandra bernhard

i love you, not for what you are,
but for what i am when i'm with you
-roy croft

a kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature
to stop speech when words become superfluous
-ingrid bergman

i love you....and it's getting worse
-joseph norris

love is in the air & hair.........eyes&sky.....mood in the room
like a love-hangover gone wilder-than-the-wild-of-the-wildest

cupid's love dipp'd arrow
has nick'd sum.........& missed many others

to bring chocolate&a-lovey-dovey-kard&a-red-petaled-rose
& the romanticwords of a romantic poetry ......to a lover
or to just avoid the day as nonsense
is alweighs one's sweet or bitter choice

one's luck in libido
is in exact proportion to gifts given..........from the heart

if one forgets valentine's daze
....often the guilty party is often forgotten too
........one reaps what one sows......

women give many hints over a years time
that most men should take heed too

the secret to a good relationship or marriage
'tis to make a lover's life easier knot harder or more difficult
...........we all want to be appreciated 'n' feel ten feet tall

she can feed me chocolate while eyem feedin' her chocolate
then... both of our eyes get fuzzy&blurred
lost inside each other's smilingsmile
lost in the depthofeachother'sworshippingeyes
lost in the skippin'-a-beat of each other's throbbin' hearts

one momentousmoment of giving exceeds a lifetime of waiting to give

faults are thick where love is thin
-danish proverb

the reverse is true too
love is thick where faults are thin

we all our much more than bone&skin&hair&blood
...it is one's spirit that matters
that always remains pure & defiled & unblemished
no matter what the churches try to say...............about sin
...........now the mind & body are a different human story

like eye wrote in a peom once.......god is love..........love is god
probably the only thing we take width us wynn we die
the love we shared&experienced&offered&anointed

but love is invisible
it can knot really be put into words or defined
......no matter what the dictionaries definition is

but wynn it lives inside of us
we wear it in our shining eyes...........radiant faces...........happy dispositions
in-our-light-almost-levitating-steps floating across the earthly plane
it's look.........we could metaphorically hang clothes on
it makes co-habitation width the opposite sex possible
for hours&months&years.......into decades & half centuries
and what a blessing

as francois mauriac zaid
"to love someone is to see a miracle invisible to others"

my days & knights are full of such miracles
that take me to the unmeasured heights of ectazy
need eye zay moor...........

when eye leave in the morning for work
& eye look back over my shoulder
to see her looking at me
..........then all is well width our twogetherness-world

poetically&myzticallyours..........................mycheal......loveroflove'sloving

happy nude year....

greetings dressed & unrepressed nudists

off width the ole year of 'zero 8
on width the nude year of 'O nine

don't keep your shirt on
don't keep your britches on
.......like the ole zaying "we all are naked under our clothes"

eye would hate to get arrested for
decent exposure

why isn't one of the seven wonders of the world
the human body...........at least a woman's

it has been recorded that in families that all bath twogether
there aren't any rapes or sexual crimes

as eye believe it was the marquis de sade who zaid
"prudery is the most perverted of all greeds"
..........did he know what he was talkin' about

the unbarred bush years are nearly defunct/extinct/terminated
his guilt trip & anti-environmentalist daze are numbered
talk about double standards & hyperventilating hypocrisy

of course nudity is a metaphor for bearing one's soul
letting the true hidden personae be born
emerge into the reel world
like (i think it was)polly bergen who once quipp'd
-i don't care what anybody says about me as long as it isn't the truth-

maybe big brother won't be spyin' on us the next eight years
we can pull the zhades..........open the windows
let the fresh air in

reverse oscar wilde's line about
hangin' our klean klothes in public..........

well it is gettin' kloser to the bewitchin' midnight hour
it wil be champainless................pointedhatless&whistleless
no headache driving home for me at dawn
eye want to remember each moment
knot drown in me regrets

nude year resolutions............
................&...................'n'..................and........................

oh maybe watch more kult films..............spaghetti westerns
do more dishes than eye eat off of
do more batches of laundry
(((no man has ever been recorded being shot for scrubbin' dishes or
hangin' up klothes on the clothesline)))
go on more nature walkabouts....bikeabouts......
write more peoms & konfess more puns
try knot to wear any zuits or ties
zpend more tymne alone width the great ALONE
time to pop a cherry coke..........guzzle it down....chug-a-lug
toast to the best yet to arrived unscheduled......unpredicted.............unmedicated........unpremeditated

happiness is knowing eye might never be any happier than the happiness
eye'm experiencing right now
accepting the situation eye'm experiencing to the fullest

cheers..............a toast..............salute............thumbs up........bravo.....carry on

sixtysexyoneish birthday greeting....

as crazy horse once zaid...........
" it is a good day to fight & a good day to die"
.........& in my opinionatedopinion
because eye'm so full of aliveness

every birthdaze eye alweighs think of a line from
dylanthomas's peom "poem in october"
"it was my thirtieth year to heaven"
but my 30th has doubled to 60 plus one

if eye was a tree that would be manymany rings
circling me girth

if eye was the wind eye'd ztill be invisible

if eye was a star eye'd ztill be a baby........just a spark of a sparkle

time heals all wounds & wounds all heels
eye possess many wounds & scars
the higher powers will let you heal when the spirit moves you
medicine man once told me...........
every time you heal a part of you dies.........
that is why you should heal when at the right time knot when the time is right

once eye scribbled in a peom......
that on my specialday my grandmother alweighs
maid the hollyhox bloom & the mulberries ripen to eat on my birthday
she proved me right again........

mr. leo the lionhearted
had a feast width me wife at the "tasteofindia" currycuisinebuffet
a wandering of the stuffed shelves of a used book ztore
purchasing "storyteller" by ldslie marmon
(ancient indian stories told in poetry & prose)
"between angels" poems by stephen dunn
"wicked poems" edited by roger mcgough

books already in my mime's mind to give aweigh to the right friend
that strays to far off the proverbial beaten path of life
& discovers me finding hymn or her finding me

to look into the ocean of someone's eyes and see the waves waving back..............
feel the splash of their friendship kiss my cheeks
read their peoms left to be written
inside-their-expressions of speechless-gratitude

who writes letters anymoor krypted in poetikal fragmentedfragments
disguised as wordplay..........with periods of perpetual periodic dotted-punctuation
the komputer has maid the typewriter antiquated & hastily extinct
no moor karbonpaper.......korrection tape
the next generation won't even know what a typewriter was or did..........
compared to a komputer keybored...........

the more a thing changes the more it remains the same insane
you kan't git there from here
half to be losted to find a nude place to go

at my age you can get aweigh width most things
you'dbe kommitted to a pyscho ward in your 20's&30's
if your a lost cause now you might as ztay a lost cause till the end verdict
might drive a psychiatrist nuts........go off the deep end
usually most people over 50 are a walkin'&talkin' pharmaceutical pill-poppin' zombie anyweigh

birthdaze are to kelebrate the one-more-day-to-be-alive keremony of livedlife
most important thing is to never have said
"no one let me do or become what eye alwaysdreamed eye should be"

just as many people are afraid of success as failure
let their dream go up in smoke............or traded for a bottle
or let someone trample their dream without a struggle or fight
wasn't it emerson who zaid
you always have to do what your most afraid of..........

if your having health problems your on the wrong strayin' path

every birthday is a revaluation of one's evolving life
where have i been.........where am i now......where am eye moving towards twomorrow
who am i........what am i........where did i come from.....what have i yet to become

like the leonard cohen song...........first we take manhatton then we take berlin
there is only so many day to draw a line in the dust
challenge the world that challenges us

the kallingkoyotes are kalling me outside.................to howl into the silence of stillness
eye'll never be 61 again...........or will eye

earthly-zpiritual-experiences

when one questions people about
if they have ever had a spiritual experiences
in their life
almost 90% have said (to me) that they never have had any
........which is very sad
especially if they have been regular church members for decades&decades

eye have had many zpiritual experiences
mostly they have occurred within nature
or in indian ceremonies(which eye rarely speak of........)
. ....... but my very first experience was in a katholic church
when eye attend'd a katholic mass
eye usually alweighs zat up in the balcony when the choir wasn’t zinging
or in the chapel(off to the side of the main altar)

this particular zunday
eye went up to the balcony to watch over the kongregation & mass
‘n’ eye & another high school classmate noticed
there were ladders leaning up to separate individual rooms
leadin’ all the way up to the bell tower & towerin' steeple
we climbed up the different ladders to each smaller room
then finally entered the bell tower chamber
......at that exact moment with the pigeons cooing & the sky in our eyes
the church bells began ringin' &clangin'
we looked at each other and we both filled with this enormous feeling of goodness
.....like man....dig it.......this is where god’s angels hang out
.....not with the mass & kongregation weigh down below in the church
we were instantly touched by the zpirit......or as katholics zay.......the holy ghost
or as st. hilary once said
"the most empty places are full of the angels of god"

why eye now surmise why most religions were brought back from
the deserteddeserts & darkforests
& mountain tops & burning bushes & the lakota's white buffalo calf woman

years later eye composed the following peom
about another zpiritual awakening moment in my life
kamouflaged in the disguise of t’is poetical-peom

the big thing about my home

if you can look out of the window
as far as what
your mind can see
then and only then
you will be able
to know
where i live

and my nearest neighbors
are a half mile away
and when it rains
you can stand on top of my house
on your tiptoes
and see for a good two miles
without
having anyone wonder

what in the hell you’re doing
on top of the roof
on your tiptoes
in the pouring rain
-michael&orf

filling me eyes&lungs&spirit full of that invisible pure energy
to be tapped into at one of those rare-precise-euphoric moments
in timeless-time............within the raindrops or the zoft-zenzational-rain
ironically eye used‘ hell’ in slang terms of what eye would describe
now........ as an experience with nature & divinity

we all know 'it' is out there.............you recognize 'it' .......when you feel 'it'
you can’t touch 'it'..............when "it" somehow touches you
......yet you find "it" next to impossible to translate into words
but you’re never the same( sane) again......
............being ‘ touched’ is what the indians call it

(((((((why some people have their proverbial heads in the proverbial clouds)))))))

eye often think of the movie........"the hunchback of notre dame"
maybe that is what victor hugo was really trying to describe&portray
how close the hunchback & the gypsy girl where to real love & divinity
'n' the rest of the judgmental-maddin'-mob-crowd where ignorant of.......

there are ztill many undeformed&unrecognizable quasimodo’s in the world
giving sanctuary to many of the falsely accused lady gypsies & witches & wenches
.........where there is love.......
.......evil seems to arrive & tries to destroy & separate

.................................but love is often not of this world or ever should be

like my andorfism original quote....... "does evil think good is evil"
(please get back to me on that.........in this life tymne)

eye often think about how the handicapped & mentally challenged
are the ones closest to god...........they are god’s children & earthly angels
mother teresa’s profound ((((saintly)))) line about them
-jesus is dressed in the disguise of the poor-
why eye have always been a defender of the less privileged&oppressed&minorities
nothing brings out my unmetaphorical sharpsword & heavyarmor & shinyshield
then when someone messes with the defenseless & innocent & angelical
. .............those who are zecretly touched kind of like liddle olde me...........

eye had a medicine man one time ask me
" why did i get along with so many minorities & different cultures & races"
..........eye guess eye didn't know why..........
.....because he zaid........."you wear the eyes of equality"
very few people do ........they deceptively wear the eyes of prejudice & discrimination
they look down at other people
(then they try to find something else wrong with them
.....besides there skin color or hair or clothes or speech or religion)
not look straight at them
...... face to face .........eye to eye......heart to heart......soul to soul

this reminds me of another quote..........
" whom the god’s wish to destroy they first make proud"
- ?

no one is any better than anyone else
some human beings be more intelligent in special unique subjects like
mathematics or science or writing skills or art(measured in i.q.tests)
or being able to memorize (facts & figures) better than others
while some people are much better & smarter in growing flowers or healing animals
or carving wood or fixing an automobile
or being an invisible humanitarian or anonymous hero or reformed outlaw
we all have our special godly gifts..........for creating or healing
once the higher power’s spark is ignited inside of us
no wonder some of us look so suspicious......................

does the name of krazykounterklockwisekrosseyedkountinkoupkoyoteeeeye

..........zing me your kowlin'koyote zong & eye’ll zing you mine

a stranger among the strangest of the strange

an ole hi-skool klassmate
asp me.....that if anyone ever ask'd me if i was a little strange............
of course my immediate response was.........

what is the opposite of strange
............pretending knot to be ztrange
eye have never have met anyone 'normal'
at least once u git to know them a while
........all humans are 'krazy' man........fruitcakes.....off the deep end

(never forget that only dead fish swin with the stream..............malcolm mugeridge)

touched people hang around with touched people
they recognize the force shining out from within
& they travel to the beep of a different drum

(you judge the genius of a country by how many eccentrics it has...........john stuart milles)

old poet line by james hershey
........the general public is suppose to go and do likewise(flockofsheep/seagulls)
a poet is suppose to go and do otherwise(goat/loneeagle)

a poet's job is turn vintage words & heavy-thoughts & inner-feelings
inside out & backwards & downsideup
........... like a painter does with a collage
make people think .........knot be braindead

like ole thoreau's line of ...........living lives of quiet desperation

to be able to get intoxicated with verbal inspirations
knot booze or drugs or neurotic-escapisms
.......why eye probably get drug tested at work more than anyone else
& eye half been klean & zober for nearly a quarter of a century

last sept. in a sante fe nude mexico............flea market.........
eye met an artistic-artist
who wrote eye for i..........tymne for time.........be4 for before........peom for poem
for some reason we instantly mentallybonded

..........the poetry police kan never revoke or zuspend me poetikal license
like the rest of the kritikal & paranoid jealous wurld does to kreative people

most people ignore most poetry because
most poetry ignores most people
-adrian mitchell

the chief enemy of creativity is "good taste"
-pablo picasso

eye rest my case.............parenthetically without being too rhetorical&redundant
& & & 'n' unrepressed

when you get a few dazzling daze
aweigh from being sixty-sexy-one-ish
you need things to keep your mind pre-occupied & wandering & inspired
one musk half a favorite mind-traveling-window in2 the kosmos/galaxy
where you tap into a muse & mentor
as they tap back into you
............opening up unlimited doors of perception
((( light my fire....breakontotheotherside......jimimorrison)))
wynn your dead your dead
.........wynn your alive ....be totally full of aliveness
nothing more quiet & still & speechless than a cemetery
no one should be more active & alert & full of mischief than a poet
.........never know when you compose your last verbal-acrobatic-feat of semantics

time to watch a liddle "harold & maude"..........lauff my derierre off the couch

overdew spring exposed unsullenly

a day of emerald green
so green it almost hurts my eyes
to have a communion of sun's delight for breakfast
a congregation of byrds singing in the trees lofty choir
..........finally after two decades
a scarlet tanager displaying its blinding kolors
fill the byrd feeders for the northern orioles & hummingbyrds
zigzagging in & out for a succulent taste
.........oh the byrds nearly pure of heart making my heart
younger&stronger&alive

april hatching into may
more time to run barefooted
do an overdue somersault
a nearly fallin' down post-sixty oneish pirouette
being like ole crazy horse
find some gopher earth & rub in on the face
join the earthly invisibles.......if only for a milli-zecond

me olde bones & fresh blood
eye must feel like an ole cottonwood
the sap rising up me trunk into the canopy of branches & brittle twigs
be alive for this season of new aliveness

the poet emerges & regenerates & resurrects
consciously & unconsciously
morning koffee has never tasted better
my wifes lips never sweeter
our unspoken konnection never more interwoven & knotted twogether

eye wink at her two rooms & three walls aweigh
where eye think she is..........but isn/t
she steps in from the outadoors with a pale of fresh rhubarb
eye already can taste & smell a desert or pie
............zhe zays a cake.........not enuff for a pie yet
but plenty of hidden ingredients to active all aphrodisiac moods
....within in the next couple of daze

the price of luv & the price of gas & the price of food
nuthing comes free
like the zaying............free verse & free love are contradictions in terms....paraphazed
eye massage your tired feet you massage my aching back
we come out even to the last fingertip extended

or as zaid in "zen comics" by joanna salajun
"i feel so much better since i gave up hope."

but in an odd sort of way then maybe hope hasn't given up on me

when an elderly man's fancy turns towards loving & being loved
.....did ever tell you about the time when eye was working in the garden
on delightful spring dazzlin'-day
barechested & body glistening in the morning sizzling-sun
and two young damsels bicycling by
stopping for a quick peek
one zaid "nice abs grandpa"
.........boy was eye really pumped.....made me feel swell.....puny-puns intended
did it really happen or just in a poet's imagination........maybe both
..........storytelling loves exaggeration embellished

time to travel to me favorite mind traveling window
explore the untamed undomesticated wildness
listen for the frogs singing down in the bottomlands
watch the clouds dressed like angels wisping by
catch the buds hatching into leaves
chase springs first butterfly flutterin' towards a smiling violet
....let my wife read this bouquet of words
dedicated to her...........everlastingness

a peom a day keeps the blues away for the still-scribblin'poet
a bluebyrd helps too
a grandchild's giggle
a bag of fresh morel mushrooms
a surprise phone call from an olde friendly voiced friend
a plate full of just boiled&buttered asparagus
a box of olde movies&films never seen/obscene be4
the cubs win in todaze newspaper
my wife's sexysurpriseserendipity of the day(luv-that-word)

spring is whispring its name..........

spring:

veiled in morning mist.
-matsuo basho

green grass--
between, between the blades
the color of water
-kiga no chiyo

out in the cold sunshine
planting early potatoes
uncertain who i am
-ken jones

eye must make an official yearly announcement
that it is now SpringG
since our horseradish is dug/scrubbed/ground/jar'd
& succulent taste bud numbingly devoured

so now the robins & redwings & blubyrds & frogs
can sing & yodel their courtship songs
.........hey darling what you doing twonite
maybe we can sing buffalo girl won't you come out tonite
& dance by the light of the moon

rake the yard........push that wheelbarrow
burn off the debris from the asparagus plants
walk barefooted to the mailbox
dew an overdue pre-summer-assault somersault across the yard
even if your going to be 61 springs young
feel the sap rise in your treetrunk body
be part of the ritual of another iwanian spring

tell a post-st. paddies daze yoke of the daze
what dew you get when you kross poison ivy with a 4-leaf klover
.......................................a rash of good luck...................

a sticky note under the komputer mouse
grandsun was ready for all the tricks for me to play for hymn
wouldn't believe anything eye zaid to hymn......wunderwhy
that his first cousins were coming for a visit
hilary had dropped out of the prez race

the loss of a beloved aunt

there is an olde african proverb
"when an elder dies a library burns down"

eye
lost one of my favorite human beings & klass-act blood-kin
aunts today

eye think about
how often.... all we have left
are the dearly departed ....final departing words
as if we don't realize
how close mary was to leaving the earthly plane
we shared a kiss & a hug & eye love you
and then one walks away carrying their last-lingering -look
buried deep inside the lump in our voice & throat

all those thousands of words spoken to each other
countless x-mas dinners & thanxsgiving feasts
a hundred meals shared at her table
talks on religion & politics & family stories resurrected

as a child eye always remember a present stuffed under her x-mas tree
with my name tattooed on it
even though our parents stopped drawing names

anytime day or night her front door was open for me
a place to sleep
a place to sit
or grab something out of the frig to drink or eat

she prayed the rosary so many times
that she became the prayers on the rosary
her hail marys heralded a mary full of grace

her sister was my mother
they were like the same polarities of a magnet
that repealed each other
they had so much in common that it was impossible to share
each others nearly mc dermott identical love

it has been said "one should never argue with a woman"
but one should never ever ever disagree with an aunt
especially when they were part of your nurturing & upbringing
snatching one out of harm's way
helping patch you up from childhood bumps&bruises

we never met without anointing each other with a kiss
even if it was to travel half way across a room
kissing her was like kissing the my mother's twin

her 9 grownup adult children
have always been like my brothers & sisters
no matter how many days/months/years have past
we can always connect like we were together yesterday
any past difference was always forgotten & forgiven

she had a spiritual connection with the 10 commandments
she once mentioned to me of putting them up in her front lawn
and i asked her which they were going to face
and she said "there was only one way they could face
towards the people driving by .....that needed to read them"
i said "there were really three possibilities.....
they could face away from the house
they could directly at the house
or they could face both ways"
she had planted them in the front yard facing the public

aunt mary jean was a antique wheeler-dealer with a gift of gab
she was a full grown female irish leprechaun
who liked & loved to feed the multitudes
who attended all family gatherings & births/weddings/funerals
the photographer in residence
who stole your heart & gave you compassion & kindness in return
who made you feel her home was your home

the queen of wellington east fourth street has left us
with beautiful & precious memories galore
a proud lady who never backed down from any controversy
even if it meant .....she had to stand alone
she was the true mayor extraordinaire of the city eye call waterloo
always standing up for the people who felt unrepresented
on both sides of the tracks

we love you sweetie.............with those betty grable legs...........ava gardner face
& occasional scarlet o'hara disposition

may you get a free pass through purgatory.........
from the thousands of indulgences& rosaries recited daily

happy halloween

happytrickortreat holloweenie nite........&allsaints&sinntersdaze

here's a snapshot of my liddle grand daughter all dressed up
to charm & scare her grandparents
....must be payback for dressing up our kids when they were youngsters
but that is how memories are made
& great traditions are started

.........one thing about halloween
is it is near impossible to get arrested
and men can drive around looking like women
women like men
in any kind of monster or villain & be left alone
...why we all need halloween to be real
who are submerged/closet self really is
maybe a cartoon character
maybe count dracula
maybe alice cooper
maybe a stripper
maybe a transvestite
maybe a transformer
maybe darth vader
maybe a pregnant nun
maybe hillary clinton
maybe dick cheney....heavens forbid
maybe tigger

who do you want to be
if you never grow up..........
tonight is the night.........
........for saintlysinners&sinningsaints
,,,,,,,,line from my john lennon eulogy poem

& if he was ztill alive my grandpa andorf's birthday
born in 1889 eye believe
always a good night for his birthday party
he'd hire a local man to be the boogie man
& peek through the livingroom window
& scare frighten our hearts to sip-a-beat or two

yokesofthedaze......

What Did the Cannibal Say…

Q. What did the cannibal say when he came upon a sleeping missionary.

A. "Ah! breakfast in bed."

of course that reminds me of the olde klassic line by herman melville

i rather sleep with a sober cannibal
than a drunken christian

eye would zay there is a wee bit of saltwater truth in that line
you know what the cannibal will do to thee
but a drunken christian would be an opened ended proposition
then he might not remember a thing the next day

eye wonder often what the native people used to think
when the missionaries used to explain the eucharist or holy communion to 'em
when they were tasting the body&blood of christ
this is shown in great metaphorical symbolism in the movie
the other conquest(aztecs vs. spanishmissionaries)
out right now in video stores............been a long wait
to have it finally have english subtitles
better than chac :the rain god
the mission(with robert de niro)
apocalypto
aguirre, the wrath of god
emerald forest

if you haven't seen any of these modern cinematic treasures
like comparing coconuts & avocados & grapefruit
they are all mindbogglin'&mindexpandin' in their own right

interesting footnote
in the directors cut to the other conquest

it was mentioned that in the 15th century
that european thought was that indians didn't have souls
of course the indians would have answered that question
if posed to them..........the opposite way
since all earthly life form has souls
...for example few people think the earth is alive or has a spirit
until an earthquake............can shake up& move the earth rather quickly
or the wind&sky.........until you see & feel a hurricane or tornado comin' at ya
what is often heresy for one culture is total acceptance by another

of course my definition of religion
is not what you do for an hour on sunday
but what your deeds & accomplishments
are for those other 6 days a week........humanitarian efforts

my adopted meskwakie grandmother used to zay(paraphazing of course)
--the sabbath is not just on sunday but everyday of the week--
prayer should be attended to each & every day
not just performed in front of a congregation & clergy

there is an ancient question
on who does more for the world
....someone speaking in front of thousands
or someone praying alone on top of a hill

probably the only way to be in balance & at peace in today's world of fear & konfusion
peoples' hunger that hungers for more hunger ......that is never satisfied
tis not getting a fix or addicted to everything that is ungodly&unholy
............god is in the invisible( )details
full of serendipity & surprises & awakenings &..............................

may eye always be a bit theo-illogikal.............

my supersweet gorgeouslybeautiful princess

oh she takes me breath away & leaves me breathless
my left eye sheds a tear & my right eye twinkles
with an abundance of released worshippinglaughter

quote of the daze about her.....
"the only thing worth stealing
is a kiss from a child"
-joe houldsworth

'n' eye'm a thief for her kisses

she is the gift that keeps on giving
& she hasn't said a single english or lakota or indonesian word yet
but speaks a language we all try to duplicate
in baby talk
bringing out the rural vernacular version of onomatopoeia
with bird & wild animal & jungle & yodelin' koyote sounds

thanxs destri for downloading her snapshots of precious innocent love
for me to share with friends & family
give me braggin' rights
she sure has a lot of andorf&mcdermott in her
see some resemblances of peterman too
oh & a wee bit of subakti

see my miss amerika soon...................grandpappyandorf
